Added the optimization of using cache for some tf-idf calculation in local search engine. Helped bring down the latency from ~240ms to ~35ms. Good way to work through optimization step by step.
Did some UI improvements for book highlights explorer app. Plan was to use just htxm, html and tailwind css. Re-wrote all the flows using the same pattern. For Tailwind CSS took help of claude. But otherwise it seemed straightforward.
Now the complete app looks good.
